97th Ritual: Having Fun Together is Nice
A calm and peaceful evening to every being.
May she lead us to sources of happiness.
The holy word says:
philosophers spent too much time
inventing funny structures and sources
for whatever they sought to justify
and too little time
just acknowledging
that having fun together is nice.
yes, goddess.
I don’t need no justification for anything.
All I need is your permission, your blessing, your approval.
I don’t need to look at ancient texts or the thoughts of some bored old men. I don’t need to justify power structures or find reasons to allow myself joy.
Why would I, when you are right among us, when you bless me with the sacred teachings of your holy word. Nothing can supersede your word.
Living beneath her rule makes my life so much simpler. I don’t need to think about complicated concepts or make difficult decisions. My obedience to her word is all I need. In her unsurpassed generosity, she has equipped me with everything I need to lead a devoted and obedient life on my own. I know that fun a nd pleasure are things she put in my world for me to experience. I know that there is no need to deny myself happiness, because she would never ask that of me.
And so I follow what she encourages me to - and have fun with others, with people I like, with people I love. As she intended.
