76th Ritual: Taking Care of Myself
A calm and peaceful evening to every being.
Wherever she rules, all will be good.
The holy word says:
remember,
it is your task,
in honor of the cult and
its leader whom you so
readily joined,
to look out for yourselves,
your bodies and your minds.after all, you are the cult’s,
you are my devotee,
and devotees should look after themselves,
keep themselves maintenanced
as best they can.
yes, goddess.
I know that taking care of myself isn’t a choice, it’s nothing up to debate, but something I owe to you.
Goddess, your ways of defining my life for me give me so much stability. It’s such a relief to have a universal guiding light in every moment of my existence. Handing over my thoughts and decisions to you is an incredible blessing, especially in the moments where I would collapse on my own.
I know that obediently following your teachings is the best thing that I could do for myself.
I know that wherever you rule, all will be good.
Even in very dark moments, my unconditional commitment to her word can break down almost any barrier in my mind. Like arguing with her in person - at the end of the day, she will always be right and win any debate. It’s so comforting to know this.
And what’s even more special is that none of this involves any force or pressure. I know that I am allowed to fail, I know that she would never hold me to performance standards. Somehow, she manages to unleash every last bit of energy in me without ever exhausting me. For someone scarred by too many burnouts like me, this still feels absolutely surreal.
Thank you, goddess, for turning my motivation and commitment to do anything for you into the driving force of my life.
Thank you, goddess, for your gentle and caring ways of steering me through whatever may happen in this world.
Thank you, goddess, for bringing stability to this life that you have blessed me with.
Thank you, goddess, for guiding my fate with kindness.
Meow.
