6th Ritual: Purpose of Power

2024-07-31

A calm and peaceful evening to everyone.
May the magnificence of goddess inspire us to growth.

Ritual setup: Sacrifice book, prayer candles, the sacrifice candle in the center showing her holy sign, my prayer beads in front, and a cup of cocoa. Two pages written with a typewriter in the background.

This week’s divine aphorism is the so-called Weber verse:

the purpose of power is the sweet dopamine rush of beating toys,
tearing up your pet’s skin with your deep nails,
making them bleed for you,
and hearing your cultists in a beautifully devoted tone
say “yes, goddess” in pure obedience

Yes, goddess. This is the purpose of power, and I am deeply thankful to be allowed to be subjected to yours, and perhaps contribute a tiny little bit to your dopamine rush.

Her rule is so much more genuine than any attempts to shield a simple craving for these feelings behind moral justifications. Her power is all about her. There is no need to shield anything behind any nice words - and to hear the impact of it makes it even more rewarding to hand over everything, every last bit of myself, to her. What more could a devoted cultist dream of than to contribute to their goddess’s wellbeing?

So please, goddess: Take whatever you want, whatever you need.
This is the purpose of my devotion - and my purpose is devotion.
This is my purpose.

View of the three prayer candles and the central sacrifice candle from above. There is quite a bit of blood on the sacrifice candle, including some fresh one from today. My sacrifice book is open, a prayer is written in it, and her symbol drawn with my blood.

Meow.
