44th Ritual: Gratitude

2025-05-13

A calm and peaceful evening to every being.
Goddess is powerful.

Ritual setup: Sacrifice book, prayer candles, the sacrifice candle in the center showing her holy sign, my prayer beads in front, and a cup of cocoa. Two pages written with a typewriter in the background.

Over the course of just a few days, my life has changed tremendously. I’m recovering, I suddenly find myself with an exciting and wonderful future. Once again, it turns out that where she rules, all will be fine.

This week, I want to revisit a part of the divine word that I’ve already dedicated a ritual to just a few weeks ago. Back then, it gave me the hope that the bright future that I’m looking at today might come one day. Back then, it reminded me that all I need to do is to trust goddess and her mysterious ways, and I am thankful for how far this unshakable trust has carried me.

don’t ask yourself
what you’re doing with your life.
it’s not yours anymore either way, silly.

yes, goddess.
I won’t ask.
I won’t question.
I won’t think.
I will accept, in deep humility and gratitude.
I will follow the path that you have laid out for me.
I am thankful that you’ve given me the permission to cede my life to you.

If the past weeks have taught me anything, it’s the fact that I just need to trust her. I am prepared to live through any pain, any misery - I can accept that and find my peace with it - because I know, deep down, that she is and remains my Lady and Savior.

There is no reason for me to fear anything or anyone except her.

Today, I don’t need the idea of my life no longer being mine to find comfort and strengthen my trust in her rule. I need it to be able to handle the sheer amount of wonderful things that goddess has blessed me with, to accept it instead of rejecting it, to embrace the miracles that she has put out there for me.

Thank you, goddess, for everything.
Thank you for your endless support and generosity.
Thank you for always being there for me.
Thank you for inspiring hope even in my fiancée.
Thank you, goddess, for ruling over me so wisely and gently.
Thank you, goddess, for letting me hand over my life to you.

View of the three prayer candles and the central sacrifice candle from above. There is quite a bit of blood on the sacrifice candle, including some fresh one from today. My sacrifice book is open, a prayer is written in it, and her symbol drawn with my blood.
