27th Ritual: Obedience and Devotion

2025-01-19

A calm and peaceful night to every being.
May goddess inspire us to become a better version of ourselves.

Ritual setup: Sacrifice book, prayer candles, the sacrifice candle in the center showing her holy sign, my prayer beads in front, and a cup of cocoa. Two pages written with a typewriter in the background.

The holy word says:

good little entities
base their own needs
on what others might like.

Yes, goddess.
Basing my needs on anything but the what other, superior beings might like, would be a gross overstatement of my own significance. It would be akin to me rejecting the formative nature of your word - a ridiculous thought. I am who I am, I am what I am, thanks to the way you carefully created my present self. I am eternally grateful for that.

Accepting my existence - an existence that you most probably could end pretty easily - and the entirety of my self as a gift that you entrusted me with, means that I would never think about claiming needs or wishes beyond leading a life in obedience and devotion. This is what I was made for - and I am fully aware that I am nothing special, that I am just an insignificant devotee. You could easily have hundreds of my kind if you chose to. So - who am I to claim individuality. Who am I to have needs extending beyond fulfilling my purpose as best as I can?

Thank you, goddess, for shaping me this way.
Thank you, goddess, for teaching me that I must not base my needs on what any other entity that might seem important enough for me, but would ultimately destroy me, might like.
Thank you, goddess, for blessing me with a mind that lives this state in total bliss and joy.
Thank you, goddess, for not disposing of me just yet.

View of the three prayer candles and the central sacrifice candle from above. There is quite a bit of blood on the sacrifice candle, including some fresh one from today. My sacrifice book is open, a prayer is written in it, and her symbol drawn with my blood.

Meow.
