Tonight’s ritual focussed on an old part of the divine word that I have already dedicated a ritual to in September, but goddess has decided to slightly adjust the wording - so I am revisiting it today, to welcome the new text that she has so generously shared with me into the collection of texts that guide my entire life.

remember,
it is your task,
in honor of the cult and
its leader whom you so
readily joined,
to look out for yourselves,
your bodies and your minds.
after all, you are the cult’s,
you are my devotee,
and devotees should look after themselves,
keep themselves maintenanced
as best they can.

Yes, goddess.
It is my duty to care for myself as best I can. Thank you, goddess, for reminding me to take care of myself. I promise to never devalue what is dedicated to you, what is yours, and only yours, to rule over. Goddess, thank you for making this so much easier for me.
